But Brave New World didn’t have cameras watching everything… In brave New World, the government had no need for cameras, they had drugs and peer pressure to keep things in line. 1984 had the use of cameras and microphones in those small metal plates that were in all the buildings.
I’m tired of people who try to be anti-establishment all the time. Maybe those video cameras are there to deter or catch criminals. They’re not there to spy on every single one of your actions.

And yes, you’re right. The current state of affairs in the USA isn’t Brave New World, it’s a mix of both Brave New World and 1984.
